MRC Camp Descriptions
Recording Camp: June 24-28, 9am-12pm
Recording camp has been a staple at MRC for several years. it has the foundation of what makes MRC so different from any other summer camp in the area. Whether you have experience in recording or, this is your first time working towards completing your song, there is something for all skill levels throughout the week. Everything starts with the idea and the song that follows. We spend five days in the studio crafting hit after hit. Artist Development Camp: July 8-12
Artist Camp is one of our newest offerings for those who are looking for ways to grow as an artist or have found their fanbase and are ready to take it to the next level. We spend five days tailoring career paths for each student through developing social media campaigns, professional networking, sponsorships and endorsements, live performance rehearsals, signing a deal vs being independent and, strategies to be successful at either. This camp is set up to give you the tools to stand out from the crowd and stand above the noise to open doors for your career that would otherwise remain closed.
Hip Hop Camp: July 15-19
This Camp is a week-long celebration of hip hop culture with something new every day. We dive into music production, DJing, visual art, emceeing, dance, and fashion. There will be professional guest instructors who are experts in their respective industries attending throughout the week giving real-world advice.
