Student arrival is from 7:45-8:00 a.m. and AWL instructional school hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Students must not be on the school grounds or in the school building prior to 7:45 a.m. There is no adult supervision prior to 7:45 a.m.

ALL AWL students (including preschool students) are required to wear a school uniform Monday through Thursday. Fridays are out of uniform, school appropriate, clothing days.

Shirts must have a collar (like a polo, golf, or dress shirt) and be solid white, light blue, or navy blue. Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 may also wear any solid color collared shirts. All students may wear AWL school spirit shirts in any color.
Sweaters/sweatshirts must be solid white, light blue, navy, black, or tan. Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 may wear any solid color sweaters or sweatshirts.
Pants, shorts, skirts, jumpers, and dresses must be solid navy, black or tan. Students may wear navy, black, tan, or white tights/leggings ONLY under skirts/shorts—not by themselves.

If you have a new address, we need one item from the list below to serve as proof of residency. This can be emailed to freyjen@cps-k12.org or brought into the AWL Office. Bus routes are determined by the address on file and it takes approximately 2 weeks for routes to update with a new address.
Homeowner/Renter Insurance Statement — dated within the last 12 months
Property Tax Statement — dated within the last 12 months and addressed to parent/guardian at the residence
Gas/Electric/Water Statement (not a cable or telephone bill) — dated within the last 30 days
Mortgage Statement — dated within the previous 60 days and addressed to parent/guardian at the residence
Federal or State Income Tax Returns — dated within the last 12 months
Rental Agreement — signed by both landlord and tenant, and including landlord's contact information
Any piece of mail dated within the last 30 days from the federal, state or local government, such as Hamilton County Job & Family Services, Social Security Office, Child Support Enforcement Agency, etc.
